Our grey seed lighting range uses a combination of locally collected seeds and recycled glass beads to create lovely organic and sustainable interior pieces.

Our seeds, which are also known as imfibinga seeds, have been used traditionally in Africa for various kinds of decorations. Here we re-purpose them to create modern pendants with a hint of traditional Africa. They are strung by hand with fishing wire, an extra local touch considering the fishing that happens just of the shores of our island.

The lampshade on the picture measures 35cm dia / 45cm length and comes on a 60cm height chipped bluegum base. Stick lampbase also available, please specify your choice in comment section.

Available shades:

25cm dia / 35cm length incl. 40cm height base
35cm dia / 45cm lenght incl. 60cm height base
45cm dia / 60cm length (standing floorlamp, get in touch for shipping options)

The shade and the base ship separately and need to be assembled on arrival. The process is simple and incl. only 2 screws. Electrics incl. a twist lock bulb holder and UK style wall plug.

We can also provide lampshades without the base, which will drop the price considerably. Please get in touch for this option.
